Solana’s on-chain news shows $6.56 million in 24-hour app revenue, outpacing Robinhood Chain’s $3.22 million. BNB Smart Chain followed with $3.26 million. The growth is fueled by stablecoins, real-world assets (RWA) news, and tokenized stocks, showing Solana’s expanding on-chain economy.

TL;DR

  • Solana generated about $6.56 million in 24-hour application revenue, leading major blockchain networks.
  • Robinhood Chain produced $3.22 million, while BNB Smart Chain reached $3.26 million.
  • Solana’s strength extends beyond trading, with stablecoins, real-world assets and tokenized stocks supporting a broader onchain economy and expanding the network’s potential sources of sustainable demand.

Solanaled blockchain networks in 24-hour application revenue, with apps generating about $6.56 million and more than doubling Robinhood Chain’s $3.22 million. The result adds another data point to Solana’sgrowing application economy, as trading, consumer products, stablecoins and tokenized assets continue to drive activity on the network.

Solana Leads Daily App Revenue

The latest DeFiLlama snapshot placed Solana first among major chains by application revenue. BNB Smart Chain followed with roughly $3.26 million, while Robinhood Chain reached $3.22 million. Hyperliquid L1 generated about $1.94 million, ahead of Ethereum at $1.59 million.

The figures measure revenue generated by applications operating on each blockchain rather than the direct revenue of the underlying network. That distinction matters because strong application revenue indicates demand for products built on the chain, including trading venues, launch platforms and other decentralized services.

Solana’s position also fits a broader pattern in recent network activity. The Solana Foundation reported that the network processed a record 216 million non-vote transactions in a single day in August. Its August ecosystem update also said real-world assets on Solana surpassed $4 billion across 350,000 addresses, while tokenized-stock platform activity continued to expand.

Solana generated about $6.56 million in 24-hour application revenue, leading major blockchain networks.

Solana Builds A Broader Onchain Economy

The revenue ranking comes as SOL trades around the $100 level after recovering from a June low near $62. The token’s price performance does not directly follow application revenue, but sustained usage can strengthen the fundamental case for a blockchain by showing that users are paying for applications rather than simply holding tokens.

Solana’s August numbers provide additional context. Data cited from DeFiLlama showed applications on the network generated about $143 million during the month, representing roughly 38% of application revenue across tracked blockchains. That monthly performance placed Solana ahead of Hyperliquid, Ethereumand BNB Smart Chain.

The ecosystem is also expanding beyond speculative trading. Western Union launched a Visa card backed by its USDPT stablecoin issued on Solana, while MoneyGram introduced a Solana-connected API linking applications with hundreds of thousands of cash locations worldwide. These developments broaden the potential sources of onchain demand.
