Ondo Finance is bringing over 200 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to Solana, expanding its real-world assets (RWA) news presence beyond Ethereum and BNB Chain. The move positions Ondo as the largest RWA issuer on Solana by asset count. The platform, Ondo Global Markets, launched in late 2025 and now offers digital asset news across multiple blockchains.

Ondo Finance is expanding its tokenized equities business to Solana, bringing more than 200 tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds to the high-speed blockchain for the first time, the company said Wednesday.

The expansion comes as tokenized real-world assets continue to gain traction across crypto markets, with firms increasingly looking to bring traditional financial products onchain.

The move extends Ondo’s platform, called Ondo Global Markets, beyond Ethereum and BNB Chain, where it launched in late 2025. With the Solana deployment, Ondo becomes the largest real-world asset (RWA) issuer on the network by asset count, the company claims.

"We've seen early signs of demand for onchain equities on Solana, but liquidity depth and asset selection from the current versions of tokenized stocks remain limited today," said Ian De Bode, president of Ondo Finance, to CoinDesk. "Ondo's tokenized stocks are built to address that by bringing liquidity inherited from traditional exchange venues and a broad catalog of stocks and ETFs onchain."

The launch gives Solana users access to tokenized versions of U.S. equities and ETFs, with trading and discovery supported through existing Solana infrastructure, according to the company.

The Solana rollout significantly broadens the range of tokenized assets available on the network, spanning technology and growth stocks, blue-chip equities, broad-market and sector ETFs, and commodity-linked products. Ondo said the expansion is aimed at making traditional financial assets more accessible through onchain infrastructure, while maintaining price parity with traditional markets.

“We’re excited to bring hundreds of onchain equities with Wall Street liquidity to Solana’s thriving ecosystem,” De Bode said in the press release shared with CoinDesk.

Since launching Ondo Global Markets on Ethereum last year, the platform has expanded rapidly across blockchains, reflecting growing interest in tokenized securities among crypto-native users and institutions alike.

"Expanding to Solana is a natural next step given its scale and performance," De Bode told CoinDesk.
