What to Know

  • Bitcoin led a broad cryptocurrency decline, while TRON became the only major non-stablecoin among the listed assets to record gains.
  • Bifrost dominated the gainers with a 258.3% surge, while Memory cow Moo and VeThor also delivered substantial double-digit price advances.
  • Smaller tokens attracted speculative demand despite marketwide pressure, with Teller recording the strongest trading volume among featured gainers.

The cryptocurrency market traded mostly lower as Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP, Solana, Zcash, Hyperliquid, and Dogecoin recorded losses, while TRON posted a modest advance. According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin (BTC) declined 1.3% to $78,118.16, although its $1.57 trillion market capitalization and $33.92 billion trading volume kept it firmly ahead of every competing digital asset.

Ethereum (ETH) slipped 1.1% to $2,472.71, with its market value standing at $301.69 billion, while BNB suffered a steeper 4.8% retreat to $719.03. XRP changed hands at $1.38 following a 3.6% decrease, accompanied by $2.27 billion in volume and an $86.78 billion valuation, whereas Solana (SOL) dropped 3.1% to $101.24.

Elsewhere, TRON (TRX) gained 0.2% to $0.3394, becoming the only appreciating major non-stablecoin among the listed leaders. Zcash (ZEC) eased 0.6% to $1,217.48, Hyperliquid (HYPE) lost 4% to $83.20, and Dogecoin (DOGE) registered the largest decline among the major assets, falling 5.7% to $0.08538 as its market capitalization reached $13.30 billion. Broad weakness across higher-ranked tokens reflected cautious positioning, although turnover remained substantial enough to show that traders had not abandoned the market entirely.
