CME Group has integrated a new daily market report for Ethena’s ENA token, expanding ENA pricing across London, New York, and Asia-Pacific through three regional dollar benchmarks. The rates started publishing daily on August 24 via CF Benchmarks, with updates at 4 p.m. local time each day, including weekends and holidays. CME also launched ENA indices for intraday tracking, helping firms manage risk and exposure. ENA prices are sourced from transactions on multiple eligible spot exchanges. The update doesn’t include futures or options but could enable regulated derivatives in the future. Cardano, XRP, Sui, and Solana are also part of CME’s broader crypto benchmarks expansion. Market participants can now use the fear and greed index in tandem with these new ENA benchmarks for better trading decisions.

CME Group has expanded institutional pricing infrastructure for Ethena’s ENA token with three regional dollar benchmarks. The new rates begin publishing daily on August 24 through CF Benchmarks, CME’s benchmark administrator.

The suite covers London, New York, and Asia-Pacific market closes. Each benchmark publishes at 4 p.m. local time, giving institutions valuation points suited to different operating regions.

Moreover, the benchmarks run every day, including weekends and public holidays. That schedule reflects ENA’s continuous trading across global cryptocurrency markets.

New Tools for Institutional Valuation

Alongside the daily reference rates, CME also offers ENA indices for intraday monitoring. Trading firms can utilize these numbers to measure exposure, execution costs, collateral requirements, and risk.

CF Benchmarks determine ENA prices based on transactions on a number of eligible spot exchanges. The methodology, therefore, minimizes reliance on a single venue’s pricing.

Notably, the development does not bring ENA futures or options into play. Standardized pricing, however, would lay the groundwork for future regulated derivatives.

Furthermore, Cardano, XRP, Sui, and Solana are part of CME’s crypto benchmarks expansion. Therefore, ENA’s addition bolsters the expanding institutional landscape of digital assets.
