Thirteen Filipinos arrested during an NBI operation targeting an alleged cryptocurrency investment scam in Mandaluyong City have pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of aiding or abetting cybercrime. The suspects were among 15 individuals arrested during a May 9 raid on a condominium unit allegedly linked to a fraudulent crypto investment operation. Investigators said they recovered digital tools used to operate a spoofed investment platform designed to lure victims into depositing cryptocurrency.
