Robinhood Chain is showing what distribution can do for onchain adoption. Within about a month of its July 2026 mainnet launch, Robinhood Chain became the largest blockchain by number of tokenized stock holders, reaching roughly 330,000 holders, surpassing networks such as Solana and BNB Chain on that metric. That leadership is based on holder count, not the total value of tokenized assets. This wasn’t an overnight success. Robinhood has spent more than a decade building a retail investing platform with tens of millions of customers. By bringing tokenized stocks onchain, it is leveraging an existing user base rather than trying to build distribution from scratch. The lesson is simple: in tokenization, technology matters: but distribution may matter even more.
