Wu Shuo learned that, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, SEC Commissioner Mark Uyeda stated that the SEC has withdrawn certain cryptocurrency cases inherited from the previous administration, as continuing to defend the original legal interpretations in court while preparing for a 180-degree shift in those interpretations would undermine the SEC’s credibility. Uyeda also referred to the SEC’s Innovation Exemption for tokenized securities as a “pilot,” noting that it offers opportunities for new entrants and traditional financial institutions to participate. The SEC previously approved this temporary, conditional exemption on September 17, allowing eligible platforms to trade certain tokenized U.S. equities through licensed AMMs and liquidity pools. https://t.co/tyTQPGU9Ij
