🕯️ Latest News 🕯️ 💥 The SEC has summoned Wall Street for a major meeting. 📈 The agenda? One thing only: 24-hour stock trading. According to SEC Chair Atkins: "We are moving toward a new day—and night—for the U.S. stock market." This meeting declared that preparations are complete. Nasdaq has received approval for 23-hour trading and is poised to launch in December, while the NYSE and 24X are also expanding their trading hours. The DTCC’s clearing system is already operating on a 5-day, 24-hour cycle. Here’s one remaining question: If markets are open at night, money must move at night too. If stocks trade 24/7 but settlement is still bound by bank business hours, that’s not an open market. The U.S. is currently expanding trading hours first. Above all, as the administration pushes its growth agenda, vast global capital is poised to flow in 24/7. The question that comes before it is already settled: What will keep pace with these hours? But the answer already exists— it simply wasn’t invited to the meeting. A 24-hour market requires rails capable of handling both trading and settlement around the clock. And for those rails, certain blockchains have already been running nonstop for years.
