Senator Cynthia Lummis said the Democratic Party wants to add a provision to the new draft of the CLARITY Act requiring President Trump to sell all his digital assets or transfer them into an independent blind trust. President Trump is unlikely to accept this. Meanwhile, the Stop Insider Trading Act, which applies to stocks, does not require officials to sell their assets or place them into a blind trust.
