Happy Friday! Here are the 5 most interesting crypto fundraises for the week ending 7/17/26. 1) https://t.co/eonS8x3U92 Centralized exchange @cryptocom raised $400M from Citadel Securities, valuing the company at $20B. This deal is notable because it ties a major market-maker directly into a large global CEX’s cap table. This could have implications around liquidity provision, prime services, and potential expansion into more institutional-facing products. 2) Velocity Stablecoin treasury platform @velocityxyz_ raised $38M in a Series A round led by Dragonfly Capital and FirstMark, with participation from Activant Capital, Capital One Ventures, and others. Velocity is purpose-built for enterprise CFOs and treasurers, letting companies hold, move, and settle funds in stablecoins while connecting to traditional banking rails and compliance systems The investor mix (payments + crypto + bank-adjacent capital) suggests stablecoin infrastructure is moving from "crypto-native" into CFO/treasury budgets. That’s big. 3) Cyclops Stablecoin payments infra @Cyclops_inc raised a $20M Series A led by Nava Ventures, with participation from Coinbase, Circle, Castle Island Ventures, and others. Cyclops sells payment providers a single API bundling stablecoin settlement, pay-ins, payouts, FX, and treasury management so they can offer faster cross-border and weekend settlement without building that tooling themselves. They’re orchestrating across all the leading stablecoin providers and hold over 100 global licenses across every major corridor, with existing customers including Shift4 Payments and Mastercard. 4) Savior of Health Crypto + AI healthcare project @SaviorOfHealth_ raised $4M from Amber Group, Basics Capital, Animoca Brands, and others. Savior of Health is building next-generation medical infrastructure, using AI-driven health management, health questionnaires, and surveys to feed scientific research and expand a global healthcare ecosystem. They’re betting that tokenized incentives and AI can align patient data contribution with medical research. 5) AXON Finance AI-native PayFi L1 @AXONFinance_xyz raised $2M in a Strategic round from Infinite Alliance, UZ capital, and BMFoundation. AXON Finance provides non-custodial treasury infrastructure and gasless payment routing for autonomous agents, with its L1 settlement and account abstraction stack designed to power agentic commerce and payment finance use cases. They're combining the AI agent and PayFi narratives into one chain, and their first flagship product is a US stock copy-trading engine (which is kind of a weird fit?) — Congrats to all the teams on their fundraises!
