Iran accused the U.S. of planning a “surprise attack.” 5. The U.S. attacked and seized an Iranian vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. 6. Iran denied claims that Trump has agreed to abandon uranium enrichment. There is deep mistrust on both sides of this conflict. Trump has stated this week that “no deal” would be detrimental to Iran.
