Based on Coindesk, XRP has outperformed major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) over the past 365 days, posting an 89% gain compared to BTC's 3.6% and the CoinDesk 20 (CD20) Index's 3.6% rise. The CoinDesk 5 Index was the only other positive performer, up over 2%, while Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) fell more than 36%. XRP's performance is attributed to the resolution of the SEC lawsuit against Ripple, the launch of the XRPL EVM sidechain and RLUSD stablecoin, and growing institutional interest, including the debut of a U.S. spot XRP ETF. However, XRP remains highly volatile, with a 365-day annualized volatility of 91%.
