BlockBeats News: On January 11, X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier posted on the X platform stating that since October last year, a common belief has circulated among crypto tweets (CT) that users need to reply hundreds of times daily to grow their accounts. However, each post consumes part of a user's daily influence. Since the average user only views 20 to 30 posts per day, the platform cannot show all of a user's posts to all their followers. As a result, crypto tweet users end up wasting all their influence on hundreds of "gm" replies, and when they post substantive content such as project announcements, only a very small number of people pay attention. The decline of crypto tweets stems from their own behavior rather than algorithmic issues, and Bier remarked, "Crypto tweets are dying by suicide (CT is dying from suicide)."
These remarks have sparked dissatisfaction within the crypto community. KALEO, co-founder of LedgArt, pointed out that Nikita Bier has not supported user growth or the long-term active user base from the users' perspective, and is attempting to suppress the crypto community on the X platform. KALEO has called for Nikita Bier to resign. Currently, Nikita Bier has deleted the related tweets.
