PANews, March 16: According to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, T. Rowe Price Active Crypto ETF, managed by T. Rowe Price, has submitted an amended S-1 registration statement to the SEC, seeking listing on NYSE Arca, with the ticker symbol yet to be disclosed. This actively managed ETP aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of crypto assets deemed compliant with commodity characteristics, with a benchmark of the FTSE Crypto US Listed Index. The fund plans to hold approximately 5–15 assets, and the current eligible asset list includes BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ADA, AVAX, LTC, DOT, DOGE, HBAR, BCH, LINK, XLM, SHIB, SUI, and USDC. The fund will only hold spot assets, with no use of leverage or derivatives, and will operate on a cash-for-shares redemption mechanism. The management fee is yet to be determined. The product structure is not classified as a registered investment company under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and is not considered a commodity fund regulated by the CFTC.
