The Republic of the Marshall Islands launched a UBI program on the Stellar (XLM) blockchain on December 17, 2025, using on-chain data to distribute USDM1 bonds to over 33,000 residents. The program uses the Lomalo wallet and marks the first nationwide UBI on a public blockchain. On-chain analysis shows Stellar is now solving real-world government logistics, not just enabling payments. XLM trades near $0.2111.
