PANews, May 25: Blockaid earlier reported that a third-party Gnosis Safe module was exploited on Base and Ethereum, resulting in approximately $3.2 million in losses affecting 86 Gnosis Safes that had added this contract as a trusted Safe Module. The contract, known as “SquidRouterModule” on Basescan, is not developed, deployed, or operated by Squid; it is a third-party smart wallet product that integrates protocols including Squid. Squid emphasized that its core protocols and contracts—including the routing contract 0xce16F6…D666—are architecturally distinct and were not compromised; Squid user funds, authorizations, and integrations remain unaffected.
