Solana Mobile has announced the launch of its new mobile hackathon, CLOCK IN, running from September 8 to October 8, organized by RadiantsDAO. The event is open to developers in the Seeker ecosystem and focuses on advancing mobile-first applications built around the Solana Mobile Stack, Seeker devices, and the dApp Store.
Total bonus amount: $135,000
This hackathon awards 10 first prizes, each worth $10,000 per project, and 5 outstanding achievement awards, each worth $5,000 per project. The organizers also offer a separate $10,000 SKR prize to recognize the project with the deepest integration with the Solana Mobile Stack.
In addition to cash prizes, winning teams will have the opportunity to receive Seeker devices, support for listing on the dApp Store, marketing resources, and a one-on-one session with Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko.
Continue the expansion of the Seeker ecosystem
This is the third hackathon hosted by Solana Mobile. Previously, Solana Mobile has consistently attracted developers to its mobile ecosystem through similar events. The inaugural event took place in 2025 with a prize pool of $100,000.
The second MONOLITH hackathon, lasting five weeks, concluded in early March 2026. Official data shows that the event received over 400 valid submissions from 66 countries, representing a 44% increase in participation compared to the first edition. RadiantsDAO also contributed to the organization of MONOLITH.
To participate, you must submit an Android application.
According to the rules, this event does not accept submissions that simply wrap existing web pages into Android applications. Project launch dates must not be earlier than three months before the hackathon announcement date; if submitting an existing project, participants must demonstrate significant new mobile development completed during the event period.
For teams with an existing web application, submissions must still include a functional Android app that demonstrates clear mobile feature development. Each project must also integrate the Solana Mobile Stack and Mobile Wallet Adapter, and engage meaningfully with the Solana network.
Submitted materials include a functional Android APK, a GitHub repository containing the source code, a demo video, and project documentation or a brief pitch deck.
Review covers products and displays
Judges will score based on four dimensions, each weighted at 25%, including user retention and product-market fit, user experience, innovation, and project presentation and demo effectiveness.
This means the evaluation criteria consider not only the technical implementation but also whether the application is suitable for the Seeker community, the completeness of the mobile experience, and the team’s ability to clearly articulate the product’s value.
Additional information: SolanaFloor mentioned that the September 9 Shipped monthly livestream will continue to focus on the Seeker ecosystem, featuring participants including Solana Mobile General Manager Emmett Hollyer, RadiantsDAO, and the previous hackathon-winning project BackYard Finance.
