As reported by Ourcryptotalk, the Solana-based memecoin BONK has launched the first regulated exchange-traded product (ETP) in Europe, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange by Swiss firm Bitcoin Capital. The ETP is 100% physically backed by BONK tokens and aims to reduce the circulating supply while offering investors a traditional market entry point. Switzerland was chosen for its regulatory clarity and advanced infrastructure. This follows a broader trend of meme coins entering regulated markets, with Dogecoin already having ETFs and leveraged products in the U.S. Bitcoin Capital plans to expand its BONK offerings in 2025, including more ETPs and structured notes.
