On October 28, Pump.fun announced the launch of Elysium trading on November 9, marking a new token launch event. Elysium, a Layer 2 built by Kinetiq on Arbitrum Orbit, settles trades on Hyperliquid’s HyperEVM using HYPE for fees. The mainnet goes live on the same day, with HyperCore data and faster order submission to be added in a future update. Pump.fun’s Solana meme coin platform remains unaffected. Perpetual futures denominated in USDC are now available, with fees at 0.05% or 0.04% with a referral. This update brings fresh on-chain news for traders.

ChainCatcher report: On October 28, Pump.fun announced that it will launch Elysium trading within its app on November 9, adding support for Kinetiq’s Hyperliquid-focused network to its multi-chain trading operations. In a post on its official X account, Pump.fun wrote “Pumpfun App x @Enter_Elysium,” adding “Trading starts November 9,” with Kinetiq simultaneously announcing Pump.fun’s arrival on Elysium. Elysium is a Layer 2 network built by Kinetiq on Arbitrum Orbit, settling trades into Hyperliquid’s smart contract environment, HyperEVM, with network fees paid in HYPE. Its mainnet is scheduled to launch on November 9, 2026—the same date as Pump.fun’s trading launch. The chain is rolling out in phases, with native HyperCore market data integration and fast order submission pathways expected to be introduced approximately four weeks after mainnet launch. The announcement only references the Pump.fun app and does not indicate any plans to migrate the company’s Solana-based meme coin launch platform or its liquidity to Elysium. This initiative is independent of another Hyperliquid integration announced earlier the same day. Pump.fun stated that in-app perpetual futures trading is now live, allowing users to go long or short cryptocurrencies, stocks, and commodities using their USDC balances without cross-chain transfers. This service charges a 0.05% fee per trade, reduced to 0.04% with a referral code, plus standard Hyperliquid fees. The Elysium announcement did not specify its funding channels or trading fee terms.
