Huo Xing Cai Jing reports that PancakeSwap’s decentralized trading protocol proposal, The Flip, has entered the governance voting phase, accompanied by CAKE supply conditions. The proposal aims to allocate 88% of trading fees from v3 and Infinity pools to liquidity providers, with the remaining 12% going to the protocol treasury, while maintaining the existing fee structure for v2. Regarding token issuance, the proposal plans to reduce the daily CAKE issuance from 22,500 to 7,000 tokens—a decrease of approximately 69%, equivalent to roughly 5.66 million fewer newly minted tokens annually. The remaining 7,000 tokens per day will be allocated to an ecosystem growth fund named Pantry, which The Kitchen team will flexibly utilize for marketing, partnerships, and initial liquidity for new pools. If approved, implementation will begin within two weeks of passage, running from November 2026 through the end of January 2027—approximately three months—and will be rolled out chain by chain. This proposal builds upon the Tokenomics 3 framework approved in April 2025, with the goal of reducing total supply by approximately 20% by 2030. PancakeSwap notes that its supply has already decreased by 11.5% over the past 18 months.
