Citing Coindesk, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) posted listing notices for four new spot cryptocurrency ETFs on Monday, including the Bitwise Solana Fund, Canary Capital Litecoin and HBAR Fund, and the Grayscale Solana Trust, which is set to launch on Wednesday. The move came unexpectedly amid the U.S. government shutdown, with ETF issuers launching the funds under newly developed generic listing standards without prior SEC approval. These ETFs are the first for new crypto assets since the 2024 approvals of spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs. Several other issuers have also applied for similar products tied to Solana and other digital assets.
