JPMorgan introduces tokenized funds MONY and JLTXX on Solana
This extension enables eligible U.S. investors to access two tokenized money market funds on Solana, demonstrating the bank’s deepening engagement with on-chain financial infrastructure.
JPMorgan Asset Management has introduced its tokenized money market funds, My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity–Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX), to Solana, expanding the accessibility of these products across different blockchain networks.
According to information released on October 22, this deployment enables eligible U.S. investors to access these two funds through Morgan Money, J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s trading and analytics platform for liquidity management. Investors can subscribe to and redeem shares via the platform and receive token balances directly in their Solana wallets.
This expands JPMorgan’s existing Ethereum-based products to Solana. MONY launched on Ethereum in December 2025, and JLTXX was introduced in May 2026; both funds were previously available through Morgan Money.
What do MONY and JLTXX offer investors?
Although both funds tokenize money market investments, they serve different purposes. MONY is a 506(c) private placement fund that provides qualified investors with exposure to U.S. dollar yields. Launched in December 2025, it made JPMorgan the largest bank at the time to launch a tokenized money market fund on a public blockchain.
Meanwhile, JLTXX is a U.S.-registered government money market fund designed to support stablecoin issuers in making reserve investments under the GENIUS Act. Its investment strategy focuses on short-duration U.S. Treasury securities and overnight repurchase agreements fully collateralized by U.S. Treasuries and/or cash.
The fund's information page states that the minimum investment is $1 million. Eligibility requirements still apply for both products.
JPMorgan's Role in the Institutional Advancement of Solana
Prior to this expansion, another milestone occurred between JPMorgan and Solana’s financial infrastructure. Earlier in October, the Solana Foundation launched Solana DvP, an open-source "delivery versus payment" initiative designed to standardize on-chain settlement processes for assets and payments among financial institutions. JPMorgan provided input during development on securities settlement practices and institutional requirements, which helped shape specifications related to custody isolation, settlement cut-off times, and token extensions used by regulated issuers.
JPMorgan has expanded its fund offerings to include Solana, bringing mature institutional investment products to Solana's rapidly growing on-chain financial ecosystem. Through Morgan Money’s support for multiple blockchains, JPMorgan can serve clients operating across different on-chain environments without requiring them to abandon the company’s existing liquidity management platform.
