According to Crypto.news, Cardano’s governance organization, Intersect, has updated its roadmap to split the Dijkstra upgrade into two phases: Phase one is scheduled for Q4 2026 and includes the Linear Leios scaling solution, nested transactions, a new serialization structure, and PlutusV4 changes; phase two will activate the Ouroboros Peras consensus protocol via a separate hard fork, with a target date of Q2 2027. Linear Leios introduces an endorsement block mechanism, where an权益 committee certifies additional transactions to increase throughput while preserving the existing Praos security model. Cardano plans to submit an amendment by September 11 to add Dijkstra-related parameters.
