Odaily Planet Daily reports that hardware wallet manufacturer BitBox said credit card sales in August increased by approximately tenfold compared to the baseline of previous weeks, with the majority of the increase coming from North America; Trezor and OneKey also confirmed sales increases during the same period but did not disclose specific figures.
Trezor, BitBox, and OneKey have all re-examined their mnemonic generation, random number generator, entropy, and firmware verification processes. Trezor plans to conduct penetration testing on core firmware functionality and publicly release the associated security audit reports; OneKey will enhance its review of security-critical code paths and transaction signing processes.
