ChainThink reports that on August 6, Grayscale Investments announced the completion of its second-quarter 2026 multi-asset fund rebalancing, adjusting the allocations of several of its cryptocurrency funds in accordance with each index's methodology.
Grayscale DeFi Fund (DEFG) sold Uniswap (UNI) in accordance with the CoinDesk DeFi Select Index and reallocated the proceeds according to the existing fund weightings.
As of the close on August 3, the DEFG portfolio consists of UNI at 34.16%, Ondo (ONDO) at 25.44%, Aave (AAVE) at 19.97%, Ethena (ENA) at 12.19%, Curve (CRV) at 4.42%, and Lido DAO (LDO) at 3.82%.
Grayscale Smart Contract Fund (GSC) rebalances its portfolio in accordance with the CoinDesk Smart Contract Platform Select Capped Index, selling a portion of its existing assets and purchasing BNB to make BNB the fund's largest-weighted asset.
As of August 3, the GSC holding distribution is: BNB 30.6%, Ethereum (ETH) 29.47%, Solana (SOL) 29.15%, Cardano (ADA) 4.88%, Hedera (HBAR) 2.08%, Avalanche (AVAX) 1.92%, and Sui (SUI) 1.9%.
Grayscale Decentralized AI Fund (AI Fund) sold its holdings of NEAR Protocol (NEAR) and reallocated the proceeds to other fund components.
As of August 3, the fund's holdings include NEAR at 31.35%, Bittensor (TAO) at 29.15%, Render (RENDER) at 21.59%, and Filecoin (FIL) at 17.91%.
