As reported by Coinotag, GoTyme Bank has launched a new crypto service in the Philippines, allowing users to buy and store 11 digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, directly within its mobile app. The service, powered by a partnership with US fintech firm Alpaca, enables seamless conversion of Philippine pesos to USD for crypto purchases. The bank, which serves over 6.5 million users, aims to simplify access to digital assets through secure in-app storage and real-time value tracking. The Philippines ranks ninth in Chainalysis’ 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index, indicating strong regional interest in digital assets.
