Odaily Planet Daily reports that, according to Lars Brünjes, the Cardano ecosystem protocol Genius Yield is gradually winding down operations. To prevent user assets from being locked, Genius Yield has developed Genius Zero, an open-source web application licensed under MIT. Users can interact directly with smart contracts via their browser to perform actions such as unstaking, without relying on the Genius Yield backend. Reward claims still require a multisignature service operated by Lars Brünjes himself and are limited only to rewards already on-chain. Existing fees on the DEX order book remain valid; any changes require signatures from three of the four founders, which have not yet been approved. Genius Yield reminds users never to enter their seed phrases or private keys on any website.

Genius Yield is shutting down operations and releasing Genius Zero, an open-source tool for on-chain news transparency. The MIT-licensed web application allows users to interact directly with smart contracts to unstake assets. A multisignature service continues to enable reward claims from on-chain deposits. DEX order book fees remain active, but changes require three of four founder signatures. Users are warned not to share their private keys. This protocol update aims to ensure continued access without reliance on backend infrastructure.
