According to Jinse, three new cryptocurrency spot ETFs began trading in the U.S. on October 28, including two altcoin ETFs from Canary and a Solana spot staking ETF (BSOL) from Bitwise. BSOL attracted $116 million in inflows in its first two days, significantly outperforming the HBAR and LTC ETFs. Galaxy notes that the launch highlights the evolving regulatory landscape and competitive dynamics in the ETF market. With 115 crypto ETFs now in the U.S., over 25 offer single-asset spot exposure. The SEC’s procedural guidance allowed these ETFs to bypass the standard waiting period, enabling them to start trading during a government shutdown. Bitwise’s BSOL also set a record for highest first-day trading volume among all ETFs in 2025 at $56 million. Analysts suggest more ETFs are expected to follow, with potential candidates including DOGE, BCH, and DOT.
