Florida prosecutors seized $1.5M in Dogecoin, Pepe, and Solana tied to a Chinese national in a money laundering and investment fraud case. The assets were linked to Tu Weizhi, who faces charges including grand theft and organized fraud. A Citrus County resident initially lost $47,421 to the scam. Authorities are seeking to arrest Tu if he enters the U.S. The seizure used Florida’s Forfeiture by Wrongdoing framework.
