In the list of top blockchains based on developer activity, Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon are the leading players. As per the data from Santiment, the other key names on the list include Optimism, Cosmos, Solana, Arbitrum, Polkadot, Cardano, and Gnosis. However, the declining developer activity across the prominent blockchains underscores the likely challenges that they are facing to sustain liquidity and growth.

Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon Lead Top Blockchains Based on Weekly Developer Activity

Ethereum is dominant among the blockchains in terms of the latest weekly developer activity. Nonetheless, despite its top position, it witnessed a 19.48% decrease in the number of developer activity events, as the number hit 7.4K. Additionally, the number of developer activity contributors also plunged by 95.72%, reaching 33.

Following that, BNB Chain saw 2.9K developer activity events over the past seven days, showing a 11.95% decrease. Along with that, the events comprised 16 contributors, indicating a steep 95.91% dip. Similarly, the 3rd top blockchain in line with developer activity, Polygon, witnessed a 19.89% decrease, with its developer activity events hitting the 2.4K mark. Additionally, after a 98.29% plunge, it saw 5 contributors over the week.

Then, Optimism’s 1.9K weekly developer activity events highlight a 14.87% dip, while 8 contributors present a 96.72% decline over the week. Additionally, 1.8K weekly developer activity events of Cosmos suggest a 13.37% decrease, whereas 5 contributors account for a 97.44% slump. Coming after that, Solana’s 1.8K events and 5 contributors display 18.87% and 97.98% decreases over the week.

Gnosis Bottoms List with 1.6K Weekly Developer Activity Events

Moving on, Santiment’s list of the week’s leading blockchains according to developer activity adds Arbitrum in the 7th spot. It saw 1.8K events and 5 contributors, denoting 20.74% and 97.97% dips. Additionally, Polkadot recorded 1.7K events and 5 contributors, underscoring 22.08% and 97.61% plunges. Subsequently, Cardano’s 1.6K events and 5 contributors show 8.18% and 97.42% drops. Finally, Gnosis is the 10th top blockchain when it comes to developer activity, with its 1.6K events and 4 contributors expressing 26.17% and 97.67% decreases.
