DoubleZero Integrates Kalshi Election Data for Real-Time Trading

Huo Xing Cai Jing reports that DoubleZero has integrated Kalshi’s election and political prediction market data into its low-latency data platform, DoubleZero Edge, providing institutional and automated traders with real-time order book information. This subscription data feed includes trades, best bid and ask prices, and market depth aggregated by price, distributed via DoubleZero’s contributor-driven fiber network built on Solana. Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, stated that prediction markets are becoming real-time information sources, but their value depends on speed—when debates, court rulings, or breaking news shift market direction within seconds, delayed snapshots become obsolete. By placing Kalshi’s real-time order book data for elections and politics on DoubleZero Edge, probabilities are transformed into machine-readable market data that professional traders and AI systems can consume and act upon in real time. This launch coincides with accelerating trading activity around the U.S. midterm elections. According to data from the anti-corruption collective, as of August 10, bets on the 2026 House and Senate elections across Kalshi, Polymarket, and Polymarket US have exceeded $133 million, surpassing the $92.4 million total wagered during the entire 2024 congressional election cycle. Kalshi is a federally regulated prediction market exchange; the November 3 midterm elections will determine control of Congress.
