According to Criptonoticias, CoinShares, a U.S.-based digital asset manager, has decided to withdraw its applications for three single-asset ETFs focused on XRP, Solana (SOL), and Litecoin (LTC). The firm submitted Form RW to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to formally notify the withdrawal of its registration statements, effectively halting the approval process. CoinShares' CFO, Charles Butler, signed the withdrawal letters, confirming no sales or transactions had occurred under the previous S-1 filings. The company is also liquidating its CoinShares Bitcoin Futures Leveraged ETF as part of a strategic restructuring. CoinShares' CEO, Jean-Marie Mognetti, cited market saturation and intense competition from established players like Bitwise, Grayscale, and Fidelity as key reasons for the decision. The firm now plans to focus on innovative products, including thematic baskets, active strategies, and exposure to blockchain-related equities.
