According to Crypto.News, EMURGO, a founding entity of the Cardano (ADA) blockchain, has partnered with digital payments platform Wirex to launch the first-ever Cardano Card. The card, set to be unveiled at the Cardano Summit 2025 in Berlin, will allow users to spend ADA and over 685 crypto assets globally via the Wirex app and Visa network. The Cardano Card is described as a multi-chain spending tool integrated into Wirex’s financial ecosystem, offering features such as yield-generating accounts, asset-backed loans, and structured trading products. EMURGO CEO Phillip Pon emphasized the partnership as a strategic move to boost Cardano’s presence in traditional banking.
