Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson expects Bitcoin to rise to $250,000 within the next two years, approximately triple its current price of around $82,000.
Hoskinson stated in a recent interview that market rallies will also lift Cardano and its privacy-focused sidechain, Midnight.
He believes the greater opportunity lies in building the market, rather than the token price itself.
He used artificial intelligence as an example, noting that there is currently no universal market to price model usage. Hoskinson said that a decentralized inference network could create such a market and generate significant demand for crypto transactions.
He estimates that if AI can be properly integrated with cryptocurrency, trading volume on many networks could increase tenfold to a hundredfold.
Hoskinson said the industry must shift from speculation to real-world utility through AI and the tokenization of real-world assets.
