Odaily Planet Daily reports: Bonk Guy posted on X that he previously held a bearish view on Solana and even authored an analysis favoring Robinhood and BNB Chain, predicting that Solana would lose significant market share and attention in this cycle. However, his perspective has recently shifted to bullish on Solana and its ecosystem.
Bonk Guy believes that Solana has recently re-embraced the "trench" culture and is becoming more proactive in supporting community projects; meanwhile, Solana's management has initiated direct communication to better align with the community and the "trench" ecosystem. Additionally, Solana's official team and core members have recently begun actively recognizing ecosystem projects such as $STONK and $USELESS.
These changes are not simply favorable to any single token, but reflect a top-down cultural shift within Solana and management’s proactive efforts to address issues within the ecosystem. He emphasized that his past criticisms of Solana were never focused on technology or infrastructure, but rather on the ecosystem’s culture and the impact of “extractors” on Solana’s new projects and users.
Bonk Guy also revealed that the long-form analysis originally planned for public release, which was bearish on Solana and bullish on Robinhood and BNB Chain, will first be shared with Solana for reference. Due to recent developments that have made him more optimistic, he may revise his stance and ultimately publish a more balanced analysis.
Bonk Guy summed up: "My bias toward Solana is changing."
