Odaily Planet Daily report: BNB Chain has launched a dedicated community forum section for the new Layer 1 network, NewL1, which went live in July 2026 and was promoted on October 17 and 19. NewL1 is EVM-compatible, targeting use cases in trading, payments, and AI—including support for autonomous AI agent trading—with target performance metrics of pre-confirmation under 50 milliseconds, TPS exceeding 100,000, and sub-second finality. NewL1 will not issue a new token; BNB will be the sole gas token. It will introduce the TxStream structure to reduce front-running risk, incorporate privacy-enhancing features, and build a native cross-chain bridge connecting to BSC. The forum will discuss technical topics such as tokenomics, consensus protocols, and privacy, and will prohibit price speculation discussions.
