Bitcoin recorded $2.52 billion in ETF inflows last week, according to CoinShares, as global inflows hit $3.55 billion—the highest of the year. Ethereum saw $702 million in inflows, while XRP and Solana attracted $92.3 million and $193 million, respectively. The inflows / outflows data reflects renewed institutional interest amid easing U.S. monetary policy concerns. Bitcoin, which briefly topped $87,000, is now trading near $83,000 after a pullback.

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, experienced a pullback after rising above $87,000. The decline began around the $82,000 level, and BTC is currently trading sideways around $83,000.

At this point, while the critical support level of $82,000 is being monitored in BTC in the short term, Coinshares has released its cryptocurrency report, stating that there was a $3.55 billion inflow last week.

Coinshares noted that these inflows were the largest this year and that demand was recovering after two weeks of generally stagnant flows, as investors reacted to changing macroeconomic conditions.

“Cryptocurrency investment products recorded their highest weekly inflows of the year last week, totaling $3.55 billion globally, after two weeks of sideways trading.”

Bitcoin (BTC) Topped the Charts!

Looking at crypto funds individually, inflows are concentrated in Bitcoin. BTC experienced inflows of $2.52 billion, while the largest altcoin, Ethereum, saw inflows of $702 million.

Looking at other altcoins, XRP saw inflows of $92.3 million, while Solana experienced inflows of $193 million.

CoinShares also attributed the recovery partly to the decrease in uncertainty regarding US monetary policy.

“The size and spread of weekly demand indicate that institutional investors’ confidence has returned as the policy decision removed a significant source of uncertainty.”

This situation is consistent with the “buying the truth” trend (i.e., buying when the expected development occurs) that follows weeks of cautious waiting.

With capital inflows now showing a distinctly positive trend throughout the year, this process highlights how sensitive short-term demand has become to the macroeconomic calendar.

Looking at regional fund inflows and outflows, the US ranked first with an inflow of $3.43 billion.

After the US, Germany ranked second with $73.9 million in inflows, followed by Canada and Switzerland with $21.8 million and $20.9 million respectively.
