Bitcoin Price Drops to $87,000, $426M in Long Positions Cleared

As per Bijié Wǎng, Bitcoin’s price fell from around $90,700 to a low of $87,017, triggering the liquidation of $426 million in long positions across major cryptocurrencies. According to CoinGlass data, Bitcoin longs accounted for the largest share at $136 million, followed by Ethereum at $117 million and Solana at $26 million. Meanwhile, U.S. stock futures also declined, with the Dow Jones futures down 137 points to 47,592, S&P 500 futures down 33 points to 4,826, and Nasdaq futures down 159 points to 25,322. At the time of writing, Bitcoin traded at $87,161.
