ChainCatcher report, according to SoSoValue data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of approximately $232 million on Wednesday, marking the eighth consecutive trading day of net purchases, with cumulative inflows reaching about $2.8 billion during this rally. Ethereum ETFs also saw eight consecutive days of net inflows, adding approximately $192 million on Wednesday, bringing total cumulative inflows above $1 billion. Additionally, XRP funds received $280 million, HYPE products saw $150 million in inflows, and Solana funds attracted $90 million. Bitcoin ETF inflows in August have exceeded $3 billion, making it the strongest month since 2026 and roughly double the volume of April. As of Tuesday, the net assets of Bitcoin ETFs stood slightly above $99 billion, up $22 billion from approximately $77 billion in mid-August; however, most of this increase stemmed from price appreciation rather than new capital. BlackRock’s IBIT absorbed the majority of inflows, accounting for about 62% of Monday’s total and approximately $1.3 billion last week. Nevertheless, Bitcoin ETFs have still posted a net outflow of about $2.5 billion year-to-date in 2026, with August recovering more than half of the outflows from May to July. With three trading days remaining in August, an additional inflow of approximately $160 million would push August above October 2025 as the month with the highest inflows since the product’s launch.
