According to PeckShield monitoring, the attacker behind the 79th Vault incident has returned 15,000 BNB, worth approximately $11 million, to the team-designated wallet address. Previously, 79th Vault reported that its token, 79AU, was compromised on October 7 due to a flaw in account permission management; the attacker gained access to the operator’s private key and withdrew tokens from the contract. The team has since proposed a white-hat settlement solution.
