A major security incident has hit Humanity Protocol, with on-chain analysts reporting over $31 million drained from linked wallets. More than 17 wallets holding H tokens were compromised, with funds traced to suspected attacker addresses. The attacker has already swapped tokens for 18,510 ETH ($30.83M) and 1,548 BNB ($924K), while still holding 111.36 million H tokens worth around $14 million. Liquidity for H is now nearly depleted.

Humanity Protocol founder Terence Kwok confirmed the compromise of private keys belonging to a member of the Humanity Foundation. He urged users to avoid the bridge and liquidity pools until further notice, stating the team is working with security experts and exchanges on a resolution.

The H token plunged around 80% intraday following the news. On-chain investigator ZachXBT questioned the official explanation, noting the high concentration of H supply and suggesting it remains unclear if this was purely a theft or potentially linked to a market maker. The root cause is still under investigation.
