Singapore Gulf Bank Launches Fee-Free USDC Mint on Solana Singapore Gulf Bank, licensed in Bahrain, rolled out a stablecoin service on Thursday for corporate and high-net-worth clients. Users deposit USD and get USDC on-chain at a 1:1 ratio across blockchains like Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and Avalanche, with 24/7 settlement and no gas, banking, or mint fees for now. The bank, which bridges traditional finance and crypto, plans retail access by the end of Q2, aiming to ease cross-border payments in Asia and the Gulf.
