A vulnerability in a Solana card contract used by Avici allowed an attacker to drain $500,859 from 1,685 users. Early on-chain estimates put the damage above $1M. solana:BANKJmvhT8tiJRsBSS1n2HryMBPvT5Ze4HU95DUAmeta crashed nearly 50% as the exploit unfolded. Avici says the vulnerable contract has been patched, self-custodial wallets were NOT affected, and every impacted user will be refunded in full.
