The Sandbox Pledges Full SAND Repayment After Exploit The Sandbox (@TheSandboxGame) will compensate users affected by the August 22 exploit on a 1:1 basis. Users who held legitimately bridged ethereum:0x3845badade8e6dff049820680d1f14bd3903a5d0 on Base or BNB Chain will receive SAND on Ethereum. The compensation will match balances recorded immediately before the unauthorised mint. The Sandbox says its treasury will fund the entire repayment. No new SAND will be minted, keeping the total supply at 3 billion tokens.
