DID YOU MISS THE $LINK × stellar:native INTEGRATION? THIS ONE COULD TURN STELLAR’S BILLIONS IN TOKENIZED ASSETS INTO SOMETHING MUCH MORE ACTIVE. Here is how I’m looking at it. Stellar already built the asset side. More than $4B in tokenized RWAs. 67 products. 10 regulated issuers. Financial names like Franklin Templeton, WisdomTree, Ondo Finance, State Street and Galaxy were already there before Chainlink Data Feeds and Data Streams went live. Chainlink now gives developers the pricing layer for markets built around those assets. The first nine feeds include XLM/USD, LINK/USD, BTC/USD, ETH/USD, USDC/USD, USDT/USD, EURC/USD, XAUM/USD and FLHY/USD. Data Feeds can support lending, collateral valuation and liquidations. Data Streams can support faster markets like perpetual futures and derivatives. That creates a chain reaction I’m watching closely. A tokenized Treasury lands on Stellar. Chainlink provides reliable pricing. A lending app accepts that Treasury as collateral. The borrower receives stablecoins. The stablecoins move into another trade. A market maker provides liquidity. The same asset is now doing more than simply existing onchain. That is the real opportunity. And we already have proof that this model is starting to happen. State Street Investment Management + Galaxy + Anchorage Digital + Chainlink + NAV Consulting + State Street Bank and Trust + Stellar are already connected through the SWEEP tokenized liquidity fund. Franklin Templeton’s BENJI has an even longer history. It launched on Stellar in 2021. Then Nonco used BENJI as derivatives collateral in a transaction with SwapGlobal. Nonco handles more than $5B in monthly trading volume, and that collateral moved in seconds. Now put Chainlink pricing on top of this type of collateral. You can start building more automated lending. Better risk management. Live collateral monitoring. Liquidation systems. Institutional financing markets. Stellar’s existing DeFi layer gives developers somewhere to build. Blend already crossed $80M TVL. Stellar Templars had already added institutional RWA collateral. Aquarius had more than $40M TVL. SushiSwap launched XLM/USDC and PYUSD/USDC pools. And the network was already sitting around: $231.38M DeFi TVL $537.99M stablecoins $2.917B active RWA AUM 3.91M transactions in 24 hours 75,176 active addresses Now think about the gap between those numbers. Only 10% of the broader $4B RWA base = $400M. That is already larger than the existing DeFi TVL. At $10B in RWAs, the same 10% means $1B. At $25B, $2.5B. At $50B, $5B. And the institutional pipeline keeps getting heavier. DTCC plans to connect DTC tokenized securities to Stellar in H1 2027, potentially including Treasuries, major-index ETFs and eligible equities. DTCC is also separately integrating Chainlink’s Runtime Environment and data standard into its Collateral AppChain for valuation, collateral eligibility, margining and settlement. Then Figure Technology Solutions launched YLDS on Stellar. Figure Markets plans to run Tier 1 validator infrastructure. And Hastra, Figure’s DeFi arm, already adopted Chainlink oracles for tokenized home-equity and auto-loan assets tied to a potential $20B market. Tradable adds another huge category with plans for up to $1B in tokenized private credit on Stellar. Private-credit assets need pricing, monitoring, servicing and collateral information over time, which creates a recurring need for financial data. Then comes the interoperability side. Chainlink CCIP is still the next planned step under the Scale agreement. And Chainlink’s own Q2 numbers were already huge: $4.9B quarterly CCIP volume +353% YoY More than $7B in token value migrated through CCIP during the quarter. If Stellar joins that network, its institutional assets gain another path toward external liquidity and other blockchain ecosystems. Now look at $LINK itself. Chainlink has Payment Abstraction, so qualifying revenue from supported customer payments and enterprise arrangements can ultimately contribute to LINK purchases. Then the Chainlink Reserve accumulates LINK using eligible enterprise and onchain revenue. It grew from about 3.06M LINK in Q1 to 4.5M LINK in Q2, adding more than 1.44M LINK in one quarter. And LINK also supports staking. stellar:native gets a different kind of benefit. Every account, trustline, contract and transaction uses Stellar infrastructure. A standard account requires 1 XLM in base reserves. Liquidity pools can hold XLM. Market makers can hold XLM. Lending apps can lock XLM. And Chainlink now has an XLM/USD feed live, which gives developers the pricing needed to use XLM as collateral in more financial applications. Then watch Meridian 2026. The lineup includes DTCC, U.S. Bank, WisdomTree, Ondo Finance, Société Générale-FORGE and Fireblocks. I’ll be paying close attention to anything around RWA lending, collateral, CCIP and institutional treasury applications. I think people are looking at this too narrowly. Chainlink going live on Stellar is not just an oracle integration to me. It links a major financial-data network with a blockchain already holding billions in institutional assets. Stellar has the assets. Chainlink helps those assets trade, borrow, lend, move and interact with more markets. More usage can mean more XLM locked in accounts, liquidity and collateral. More Chainlink usage can mean more service revenue feeding LINK economics. And if Stellar grows from $4B in RWAs toward something like $50B, with even 10% becoming active collateral, we are talking about a possible $5B financial layer built around those assets. That is why I’m extremely bullish on both stellar:native and $LINK long term.
