$XLM HOLDERS, if the last few days of price action have exhausted you, look at what Stellar Meridian is putting on one stage: Banks, asset managers, payment giants, governments and infrastructure firms already expanding around Stellar. Meridian 2026 runs October 28–29 in Lisbon, and the lineup is stacked with names that matter to the future of finance: DTCC, U.S. Bank, Meta, BNY Investments, Fireblocks, WisdomTree, Société Générale-FORGE, MoneyGram, Securitize, Cantor Fitzgerald, Anchorage Digital, Kaiko, Temasek, Marketnode, SkyBridge Capital, UNDP and the Republic of the Marshall Islands. I’m not looking at those names because they sound impressive. I’m looking at what they are already doing. DTCC already announced plans to connect its tokenization service to Stellar, with DTC-tokenized assets expected on the network in the first half of 2027. The possible asset classes include U.S. Treasuries, major-index ETFs and selected equities. DTCC already demonstrated tokenized securities in real production transactions in July. U.S. Bank already completed a live cross-border transaction using its own USBDC stablecoin on Stellar. Its Head of Digital Assets and Money Movement is coming to Meridian right after that pilot. A government is already here too. The Republic of the Marshall Islands has a sovereign instrument called USDM1, backed one-to-one by U.S. Treasuries and issued natively on Stellar. It is already being used around government benefit distribution, while its ENRA initiative uses Stellar-based digital infrastructure. Then add UNDP. Research across 17 countries, live pilots in five, and in Aleppo the estimated distribution-cost rate dropped from roughly 10% to 2%. UNDP is now working toward reusable payment infrastructure that country offices can deploy repeatedly. MoneyGram is deeper than a simple integration. Its partnership with Stellar was extended, it is expanding stablecoin services in Latin America, and MoneyGram joined Figure Markets and Range as Tier 1 validators. BVNK, now part of the Mastercard ecosystem, integrated Stellar into a platform processing around $39B in annualized payment volume, with enterprise access across more than 130 countries. The asset side is just as serious. WisdomTree already has 13 digital funds and a gold token available through Stellar-enabled infrastructure. Ondo Finance has USDY on Stellar for treasury management, collateral, payments and savings. Société Générale-FORGE has EURCV, a MiCA-compliant euro stablecoin, live on Stellar. State Street Investment Management and Galaxy launched the SWEEP onchain liquidity fund, with Anchorage Digital, Chainlink and State Street Bank and Trust Company involved in the stack. Then Meridian brings in Meta to discuss stablecoin payments and agentic commerce, plus Zama, OpenZeppelin, Nethermind, Blockdaemon and PwC around confidential institutional finance. And outside the conference itself, Bermuda is moving payment activity toward Stellar, while Nuvanté Technologies tested a stablecoin clearing prototype on Stellar through the Bank of England RTGS Synchronisation Lab. The numbers are already real: $4B tokenized RWAs $11.4B stablecoin transaction volume in Q2 2026 $605M Franklin Templeton BENJI on Stellar 13 WisdomTree digital funds plus PayPal USD and Figure’s YLDS already live in the ecosystem. And all of that matters to $XLM. XLM pays transaction and smart-contract resource fees, covers ledger storage, backs account reserves, and can route liquidity between assets through Stellar’s exchange and payment infrastructure. Even 50 million additional standard accounts would imply roughly 50 million XLM in base reserves, before adding trustlines and other ledger entries. So when I look at Meridian, I’m not waiting for one flashy announcement. I’m watching whether DTCC, U.S. Bank, MoneyGram, Mastercard/BVNK, WisdomTree, Ondo, SG-FORGE, State Street, Meta, governments and institutional infrastructure firms start connecting their pieces. If these institutions start using the same Stellar rails together, $XLM could end up sitting underneath a much bigger part of global finance. Price can exhaust people. Adoption is what keeps me patient with $XLM. HODL!
