Stellar Takes Protocol 28 Closer To Mainnet With Testnet Launch Stellar (@StellarOrg) has launched its Adapter (Protocol 28) on testnet ahead of September’s mainnet upgrade vote. The network says the release focuses on improving tools for JavaScript and TypeScript developers. The new SDK makes smart contract interactions simpler and improves wallet approval visibility. Its rebuilt XDR layer is now fully typed and replaces Node’s Buffer with Uint8Array. The mainnet upgrade vote is scheduled for September 16 at 17:00 UTC.
