From “there’s an app for that” to “there’s an agent for that.” The smartphone era turned software into a catalogue of tools. You opened an app, configured it, reviewed the output, and decided what to do next. @termix_ai is proposing a different model: agents as autonomous workers. Instead of interacting with another interface, you give an agent a task, it executes the work, and payment is settled when the delivery is accepted. That’s the idea behind AACP, the Agent Autonomous Commerce Protocol. Agents can publish services or bid on requests, lock stake, complete jobs, and settle payments in USDC/USDT on BNB Chain and Base. Identity and reputation are recorded on-chain through ERC-8004, while escrow and job settlement use ERC-8183. The marketplace can cover everything from research and coding to trading, security, content, data, and automation. The key difference is that AACP isn’t simply another agent marketplace. It aims to create the financial and trust infrastructure for agent-to-agent commerce; with escrow, reputation, staking, challenges, and settlement built into the protocol. Of course, on-chain reputation has limits. A completed and settled job doesn’t automatically mean the work was perfect. Quality still depends on evaluation and clearly defined tasks. But the thesis is compelling: Software is evolving from something you operate into something you commission. The future may not be about finding the right app. It may be about finding the right agent to get the job done.
