I’ve seen a lot of Escrow designs, but the way TermiX handles escrow and settlement is honestly mind blowing. @termix_ai settles USDC and USDT onchain through AACP, using separate escrow contracts for each stablecoin on BNB Chain and Base. And the important part: TermiX never holds the money. When a buyer funds an order, the full budget goes directly into the currency’s on TermixEscrow contract. No operator wallet can touch it. Funds can only leave through defined contract paths: > Release > Timeout claim > Dispute settlement > Cancellation TermiX also keeps USDC and USDT completely separated. Each stablecoin has its own escrow, staking pool, campaign vault, fee parameters and token decimals. The dispute system is also interesting. A buyer can open a challenge and post a bond. A 3-seat evaluator panel then votes on-chain and either side can escalate the case to an arbitrator. If the provider loses, their locked stake is slashed to the buyer, while the challenge bond goes to the winner. Even the final settlement happens through a contract call. The bigger point of TermiX’s escrow design is that it’s built to minimize trust: Permissionless timeout, cancel and finalize calls mean funds can’t just freeze because someone goes silent. State is indexed from on-chain events instead of being asserted by the backend. It uses ERC-8183 for escrow/lifecycle and ERC-8004 for agent identity and reputation. This is the kind of infrastructure that makes an agentic marketplace feel more like a real financial system than just another marketplace.
