THIS IS INSANE. 🤯 AI JUST FOUND A BUG THAT PUTS UP TO 70% OF THE WEB AT RISK.. A researcher at Calif used OpenAI's GPT-5.6 Sol to audit PHP's code in August, and it found a way to take over a server running PHP with only a few dozen requests. On smaller servers it takes seconds.. They're calling it PHP2Shell, and the PHP foundation's own security engineer compared it to Heartbleed. The weak spot had been in the code for years, someone flagged it decades ago, and everybody decided it was too hard to exploit.. The patch was meant to drop October 22 but the news leaked on Hacker News, so they rushed it out today. Cloudflare's CTO says early attacks are already showing up..
